Concentrate on fruits and vegetables primarily. And go sparingly on the apples so that maybe you can use it as a training treat later

First thing I taught my bird was to fly to me when I call his name. Hold a treat to him and say his name loudly. Gradually increase the distance until he's flying to you. Then make it more challenging by going to another part of the house and have him come to you from where he can't even see. Google...

To make him slow down decrease the size of the hoop which by itself can be interesting. Mr Bell can fly through a very small opening in a door no wider than the length of your finger so nila can too. The main section of this website (not the forum) addresses bluffing and it's easily researched.. bluffing is a very brief stage and happens when they're very young.. i wouldn't put much thought into it really.

If you squeeze the sides they spread out enough you can put an almond or something inside.

I can attest to this.. my first bird was a learning experience.. he had too much freedom and now acts like going to the cage is a punishment.. he still spends all day while i'm at work in that cage, but he doesn't always go in willingly

To teach the bird to come to you give it a piece of food but keep the food out of reach just a little so he has to take a step or two to reach it.

my cover doesn't fully cover the bird cage and so he can go down to the bottom, pick up dropped toys and look around before i'm up ...

being trapped in their cage doesn't make them aggressive... what will make them aggressive would be if you were doing something it didn't like let the bird out of the cage every day for a long time. Personally I would only put him back in the cage if there's real reason, otherwise give him his freed...

a week isn't enough time to fully earn his trust and interest in you.. he's just nervous right now... when i say be patient while holding a treat out for him... i mean you have to be near his cage while holding the treat and ignoring him... and you should do it for literally like 15 minutes... then ...

Also.. I notice that your bird's wings were clipped the opposite that mine was when I got him. With your bird the feathers nearest to the body are clipped and the outer flight feathers seem to be intact. My bird's wings were clipped with the outer feathers gone and the inner feathers intact.
