my bird always tries to kiss me

salvador is always trying to get into our mouthes. he makes a concerted effort, even prying our lips open. its very cute, but my guess is not very hygeinic?

anyone else have similar problem? or know what to do about it, beoynd not letting him on our shoulder?

thanks! i know they go through mood swings, but what im more referring to is months of absolute sweetness, and now a more tempered attitude and trying to determine if its the telltale initial signs of bluffing, as there is nothing that suggests a relative age to expect this behaviour.

scrap that. ive just read over lots of details on worming across different sites.

ive decided not to worm, apparently puts alot of stress on a birds body and is not necessary with indoor birds. good to know!

i think its an aggressive thing - one of mine always tries at the others tail when irritated. possibly because its an easy target. you're not alone but unfortunately i cant offer anything more than that - would love to hear some possible details from someone with experience about this behaviour./

yeah most probably. birds are naturally at their noisiest during morning and afternoon. some of the calling might be attention from you, but id say definately she is communicating with those birds outside, either establishing her territory or some similar nature. iggy does a similar thing when perch...

my little salvador loves to shower with me! if hes out, he'll fly into the bath room and start running along the shower rail and jump on my head to come under the water - but only when its cold water (thank god its summer!)
