Derbyans are to a Moustache what an Alexandrine is to a Ringneck. They are bigger versions with very similar looks.

Can you post a pic Mik? I wouldnt get it done unless its really urgent because once you trim it they grow super fast and will always need it done.

I know the answer is yes but does baby have lots of wood chew toys and stuff? Natural wood perches? Those will help to keep his beak trim.

I like all of those names, I met some people at work whose IRN was called Midori but they named him after the green alcohol midori. I think its a funky name but I realy like the name Oliver too...... This is why I have a theme, at least it narrows the field!

Two weeks is pretty young to pull from the nest, you can easily pull at 21 days (3 weeks) and still have lovely tame babies. All the ringnecks I have raised were pulled between 19 and 23 days.

Ringnecks can start talking at 6 months. The best way to get an approximate age is to tke them to an avian vet but even then its just and educated guess.
