It depends on the genes in them. Green is one of the dominant colours, and since both are green it is likely to have all green chicks. It seems that birds can tell what eggs with hatch, if the baby is malformed, or the egg is infertile. Some hens will throw infertile eggs out of the nest or even destory eggs with malformed babies.
