Yay thanks Skye! Tomorrow if I have time tomorrow I will take some pictures of my small 2 week old collection. Don't worry doodlebug, the fact that you don't collect feathers makes you normal, not like us crazy bird people.

Hi Skye, nice post. A couple of years ago I used to visit such websites when I just started learning about parrot care. I was a needle away from buying the bird tricks.com scam, when I read a forum post about their dangers. From that day on I have learned everyrthing from forums such as this one. N...

Hi Loo, about Aero. Well, I think we progressed a little bit. We went back a few steps back though. For the last couple of days every time I approached a 1.5 metres radios of the cage Aero would starting flying from perch to cage wall and start flapping all over the cage. And I can tell you it was ...

Hello Avaks, Welcome to the forum. My IRN Aero is also at a similar stage but a bit more behind. I have him now for around 3 weeks. The fact that he eats from your hand is a very good thing. Keep it up. I have still to wait for Aero to eat from my hand. If you stick around you will have tremendous ...

Hi MissK,
Tbh I don't know. Just giving him fresh food and water. I think by coming close to him he gets scared. So shall I just ignore him but sit near him and carry on feeding him apples? Or shall I let him settle down first? Sorry for pestering you with these questions.

Eyes? Yes eyes!
Hi everyone, just a quick question. The pet store who sold me Aero told me that he is 8months old. Is it normal that his eyes are all black with a little bit of dark yellow in one side. Which age do they get when they have like white and black. Could he be younger than he really is (honestly I hope...

Hi Dan, I agree with loo, I believe your bird is moulting. Aero here is moulting but other than a very scruffy feathers and down feathers all over the floor that's all I have. I also believe that Doodlebug is also moulting. Don't panic, (I admit it, I panicked myself and though he was plucking too)...
