Hey my two IRNs hate going to sleep. Is this normal for birds, is it because thay are uncomfortable when they sleep?? I cover the cages in towels, sometimes I wonder if they get too hot in there cages.

my 1 and a half year old male IRN has just recently started loosing feathers. He is losing feathers from the top of his beak to heading up towards his eyes. im not sure why this is, can anyone offer any sugestions as to why this might be happening???
