Re: Pacing pacing pacing

well just in case it was that my cages was too small i went out and bought 2 decent size cages that make my babies look as big as budgies in them, pennie still does the same thing, they are both booked in for a health check this morning so i will ask if they know why they pace in this manner, on a l...

Re: Pacing pacing pacing

hi

my bird paces and shouts and eats just like yours, she never used to do it till i brought my 2cnd IRN home, so i think it maybe a territorial thing, i think shes telling my blue that this is her cage, he can go on it but this is her domain.

separating them into different cages maybe a good idea, it sounds like they are more dependent on each other and will probably continue in this manner, if they are apart there is a chance they will become more dependent and tolerant of human contact, i'm not sure how early bluffing starts but i thin...

ok so here it is, all IRN's are different just like most humans haha, the best thing you can do is read up on other peoples experiences and what the outcome was for that individual, that way if what they did work you could perhaps try the same, however if it did not work you have learned something, ...

most owners... and when i say most i mean all owners will have photos of their pets, look for any distinct markings and tell the owners you require a photo that they have of the bird, my guess is that if he/she talks it would be a massive help coz the owner should know a majority of the words, howev...

Hi ecky, I meant that Blue has some trained behaviours already - you mentioned the give a kiss, plus the talking and being semi tame. I bet you are going to discover he knows more than that, too. Now I'm dying to see this bird auction as well! hi missk, i am learning things about blue everyday as h...

Hi. Yes, I did misunderstand. I thought you meant you were not going to train them at all. Sorry. Now I think I understand you meant you will not force them to do something they don't want to do. That's great. We can all agree that's the best way to go! :D I see you are offended because you think I...

I don't know the situation around the other bird starving or if that's even true but I have heard of it happening even when they had seed. Ok, thanks. I'll try them. The breeder told me to keep clear of fresh fruit and veg as it makes them ill. I was informed to feed him cockatiel mix. This didn't sound right to me and went against what I researched. wise choice mate, some of my research said that the wild IRN's are thriving in the so...

Hello everyone, i have recently got a IRN names Borris, he is about 1 years old. I've had him for about 4 days and i'm pretty sure he wasn't hand raised. My baby irn is about 7-8 weeks old. He does not stand normally. It is hard to explain because i dont think its something wrong with his legs because he walks and flies pretty well. Keep trying with different foods. Like a child who never had ice cream yet, she may not know her favourite foods and may need to learn them. Nuts (almonds, peanuts), seeds (sunflower, safflower), and fruit (apple, pear) as well as spray millet are all frequent favourites. Don't forget to eat these ...
