Unfortunately we dont have one in the area and I think right now the stress of the trip might do more harm than good. I do have a call into an expert breeder in the area to see if she can come over and evaluate her, ive been needing her to come groom my other birds anyhow. Shes been in the business ...

Im in bakersfield california USA....not sure if its legal or not but they do live wild here so I dont see it being illegal if she was wild in the first place. I'd say no. The reason I got my first ringneck was because the previous owner had him housed with 4 cockatiels and he was very aggressive toward them. He does fine with another ringneck though

My little Jade will hold onto her branch with her feet and flap her wings like shes flying but wont actually fly anywhere...she can fly and does but a lot of times she just does this flapping...is there a reason for ot?

I was shocked the ringnecks picked it up. Mine are so quiet....a few chirps throughout the day but thats it but once I started playing this they perked up lol and it stops the conures screaming almost instantly...huge bonus....

Whew! I have 6 dogs (3 are rescues off the street) 3 cats, 2 IRN, 2 Sun Conures, a sulfer crested cockatoo (shes my baby) she doesnt care for the company of other birds so I got her a guinea pig to put near her. She likes to stand on the piggys cage and watch her run around lol

My sun conures were driving me up the wall with their constant screaming so I made a playlist on youtube of beeps, whistles, lazer sounds etc... and started playing it for them in hopes they'd pick up some fun sounds other than screaming...well my IRN Paco is already picking them up lol hes normally...

Fun idea! I call it birdy ice cream lol I take a whole coconut, crack it into pieces freeze it and give it to the birds. I live in bakersfield california so its hot as heck here and all my birds go nuts for the "ice cream"

Beautiful! How do your sun conures get along wih the ringneck? I have a pair of ringnecks and a pair of sun conures and they are very interested in each other through the cages but I have not let them get too close

I was thinking that since from what ive read it is breeding time here in bakersfield california but they are supposed to be babies....I rescued them from 2 different people who bought them from someone else but the birds are only supposed to be around 9 and 11 months old.
