I know this seems silly but the woman who I received him/her from said that Zazu was grey lacewing. Is that right? I keep looking around the internet at pictures but I can't decide. I took the mirror out of his cage. Which does seem to help. If I take him to the bathroom and sit on the floor with him he does a little better. Persistence is the key I guess. He was especially grumpy today. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

I tried it today and he seemed to just get REALLY angry. But I will try it some more and see if it works. Eventually he will stop biting flesh right?

A match box car.. I watch Zazu with it to make sure he isn't trying to take off the wheels. He just wants to push it around on the floor. I haven't found any other treat expect Spray Millet. Zazu LOVES it.

He is such a pretty bird!

I got mine yesterday and the only noise I have heard from him is LOUD squawking when he was clamped down on my finger when I was moving him from one cage to another. Mine is about 4 months old.

I have made them stay back from her cage they are allowed to talk to her but they aren't to pick. She is very unhappy with me. She has drawn blood and left lots of beak bites on my fingers. She is beautiful and in time I am sure she will warm up.

Zazu has his wings clipped and I will keep them like that. We have celing fans.
