Pet Ringneck identifies killer of beloved owner!
An amazing story I read today, I have to share it! Police were able to find Neelam Sharma's murderer after a tip off from her faithful Indian Ringneck! After her death, her husband talks to her parrot to find he knew more about what happened than was previously thought... all pets are so close to th...

My new budgie!
Some may know that I already own a beautiful IRN named Kari... well, I've been visiting a lovely budgie in my local pet shop for a couple of weeks before finally deciding to give in and buy him! I couldn't be happier, he isn't clipped, he's friendly, he steps up (from day one!) and eats from my hand...

We guessed 'she', my IRN Kari is actually a 'he'!
Hello everyone, I haven't been on the forum in a while, but as some may have seen in a few comments I've just posted, my beautiful green IRN Kari, that 100% of those who guessed, said was female is actually a male! I saw a very clear male display from him last night! I was so shocked! I'd expected K...

Help with new IRN
Hello, I've had my young ringneck Kari for around 2 months now, she was aviary-raised so she is difficult to interact with, nonetheless she is basically comfortable with me putting my hand into her cage to rearrange toys, change food/water dishes, etc. she just watches curiously. When I put my hand ...

Yes the dark spots on her feathers are something I haven't seen before, hopefully it's just natural unique colourings rather than anything negative like deficiencies my bird my have :( I'm very new to owning an IRN so I really am unsure about these things. Oh okay I see, I only noticed her tail feat...

She was apparently 4ish months old when I got her apparently so that sounds about right (unless the breeder wasn't very knowledgeable)
I just don't want to refer to my bird as the wrong sex, how embarrassing for poor Kari
I'll find out one day even if it takes years...
