I can say from experience that ive had both of those types of play stands -for my sun conure- not my IRN -yet. As far as they go , most birds love to climb so the java tree is a better choice for this activity . I did purchase one like the first choice -the metal one . Hung lots of toys from it and ...

I personally like number 2 - our sun conure has one like this and he loves it . I'd like to find one for our INR .
