There was a lady with some birds including a green irn. According to her he was 7 months old. All his tailfeat...

Re: Maybe possibly get to keep my "temporary" IRN

if you were to give her back, would she cover the expenses for the 3 months? If so, how much? you should deduct that amount from the $200.

Re: outdoor temperature

that's good to know, I know some birds are sensitive to cold temperature, wasnt sure about ringnecks. He was always indoors until recently. Although its usually pretty warm at night here, it does drop down sometimes. Tonight its dropping into the 30s, so I brought him indoors. Maybe I'll get him use...

outdoor temperature

Hello everyone, A couple of weeks ago my husband and I moved down from Pennsylvania to Florida. The house we are staying in has a lanai, which is a screen in porch. I placed Dalek's cage in there. He seems to love it. He's practically outside, but with screened protection. I do have a smaller cage i...

Re: traveling with an IRN

Thanks for the tips. Hes fine with the dogs. They all walk around the apartment together and coexist. He chases the dogs and growls at them sometimes but they just walk away haha. I think ill just keep him uncovered and bring a blanket just in case. He is only 7 months old but hes pretty fearless in...

traveling with an IRN

I need some tips. I will be moving next month and driving about 18-20 hours to my new home. We will split it into 2 days though. I keep my IRN Dalek in a large flight cage, but I also have a much smaller cage that I will use for traveling purposes. I have had him in my car before, but that was when ...

eye pinning

So I have owned my lovely IRN for 3 months now. I love him to pieces. he's been bluffing but hes awful at it. he will growl and pretend to bite and then purr as soon as he is touched and wants to be cuddled. anyway, obviously IRNs pin their eyes. Why exactly do they do this? I notice Dalek does it w...

Re: Newbie here!

Thanks. The dogs are doing well with him, they both seem to just ignore him, which is good. I decided to call him Dalek (characters from Doctor Who). I love this boy!

Newbie here!

Hi all! I am a new mom to a 14 week old green IRN. I have had him for 4 days and absolutely adore him! I have owned birds in the past, but have never seen so much personality in one little body! He is just amazing to watch, he is fearless, loves to eat, and play and just explore. He is filled with e...
