need some advice on giving meds with little stress

My irn has meds that have to be given twice daily. I was told it -can't- be put into a treat so i have to catch him twice a day and give him meds with a syringe. I am going to end up hurting him trying to catch him and he's getting scared of me now. I could use some advice on a possible alternative ...

if they display to you take it as a compliment.

Dangers of rope perches

I've become aware that some birds have killed themselves by chewing up too many fibers from rope perches. I have one rope perch and recently one of my birds has started chewing on it. Think it's time to pull the perch out and put it away for a while?... or maybe just provide better foraging... which...

Re: Neko the new guy

Neko apparently recently discovered his reflection. He's always ignored it in the past but the last couple of days he's been pretty impressed with himself. Anyway this morning he kept collecting toys and flying back to the mirror with them. I don't know what he was thinking but it did it 3 or 4 time...

just let her have a mirror so she can enjoy herself. Or ration it out to her if you're really worried about her bonding too closely to it. Let her have some Me time if she wants it. I have two birds.. one is totally impressed with himself and the other is not. There is no harm in letting her see her...

well the vet trip went way better than expected. It amazed me how well behaved Neko was. Sure he flew around and was difficult for a total of about 1-2 minutes during the 1 hour visit. And that wasn't even all at once.. for the most part he was very cooperative and well behaved which i didn't expect...

that's a neat question.. of course AJ gave the simplest answer ever haha..

I don't know why they wouldn't... they'll take the time to make the next and pick a spot and all... seems like they'd take the time to sit on the egg too.. whether in vain or not.
