They know when dawn is and they want food then as they do not eat at night. They like a routine. My bird has a wall mirror to look at she can see all of her body, l think those tiny round mirrors are cruel like talk to your friend through a port hole!

Just a point about poops, if they are on pellets it should be a brownish colour and white centre but if on seeds dark green and both should be moist. The first poop of the day is the biggest but during the day there will be several smaller poops. It is good you are helping each other.

Some adverts are terrible but the whole point if you remember the product, the advert can be terrible, like the train guide advert! A hooded pullover has solved Billie biting my neck! Recently it has been heaven with her going to bed at 7 pm and sleeping until 8 am, l could sleep myself for 9 -10 hours and Easter Weekend she was vey quite, if she is telling the truth about moving on in May she certainly does not want me to complain of noise at 4 am again it would spoil her chance...

Place on a dish all sorts of pellets including Kaytee exact take OUT THE FIRST CHOICE and use the second choice for training, You could always use Kaytee for training. Give him a varied diet of fruit and vegs, let him pick out what he wants.

They make lovely pets, my Alex hen is about 7 years old and is adorable, she does not talk but makes for it by being very loving. Watch out when she gets older for the breeding season, when she starts getting hormonal cut back on proteins etc., you will find all you need here on out site go searching

Terrible news. Billie totters when she is sleeping l think she is about to fall over, but jerks awake at the last moment. I have had second thoughts about buying a plastic mat, it won't stop her from scratching. Playing chase is the best answer.

You need to read more on this site but sit next to the cage, eat your meals next to the cage and talk all the time but DO NOT try and get the bird to respond to you, let your bird go at his own pace.

It takes a lot of time and patience to help a young bird settle down, read all you can on our site you will find all the info you need, but sit by his cage with the cage door open, eat your meals in front of him gradually he will settle down and even come out but you must be patient.

Now the cage is back in the window she can see down the drive but she does not like the sun, and is bang her bell and babble ball, a sure sign she is cross.
