I have tried to find a picture of a turquiose. What do they look like? The rest of his clutch were lutino, and green (2 of each). Does this help any with my Dexter's color?minnie wrote:I disagree. ... I think that its a grey turquoise with lots of turquoise

Re: Color question, what do you think?
Unfortunately I do not know the parents' color. Here are some other pictures with no flash. His wings are darker than his trunk, his head is the lightest.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: Quiet IRN?
When it was just Sunni, though, she was so quiet. I was worried too. Now? I wonder what happened to my quiet baby hahaha Thank you! That does make me feel a bit better. I just want him to be happy. I have been playing videos of other IRN's and he stops whatever he is doing to listen, even if he is ...

Quiet IRN?
Dexter is 11 weeks old, and I've had him about 3 weeks. I am a bit worried he is too quiet. I've only heard him chirp a dozen or so times, so far. He was hand fed, but not really hand tame. I talk/whistle to him as often as I can. I have also gotten him to trust me enough to 'step up'. Am I doing so...

Color question, what do you think?
This is my first IRN Dexter. I have only had him since yesterday and he's 8 weeks old. The breeder says he is a cinnamon grey green. What do you think? He seems like a very sweet boy just scared to death of hands. 10406916_10202066013039303_2054589103671119013_n[2].jpg 10402679_10202066015159356_908...

Is my cage big enough?
I have a cage that I had my Budgie in and I was thinking of re-using it. It is 12.5 X 21 X 33H is this big enough for an IRN? Should I get a bigger one? If so how much larger do I need to go?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Waiting patiently for the breeding season
Does anyone know when the breeding season is for the U.S. ? I've been looking for breeders in Pennsylvania and I'm having a super hard time finding a good one. Any suggestions?
Thanks

IRN breeder in Pennsylvania
I am new to this, both IRN's and this site. I am looking for a handfed male, color is not very important. I am wondering if there are any breeders that either have or will have a clutch soon.
