Just one little tip DO NOT use a glass mirror. The shiny Stainless Steel one's hold up a lot better. Quinn beats his up quite a bit . :wink:

I think Claire is right about not sticking your hand in the cage, I want my birds to consider the cage thier home and a "safe" place to retreat to if needed. Cage door is open if we are home and birds go in and out as they please.

I know each Country has thier own rules and Quarantine period for dogs. so I assume birds would be no different ? Airlines also have a list of rules for shipping the airline you are flying with might be a good place to start looking into the specifications. Good luck with it ! :D

Welcome Smad you might try leaving the cage door open and see if his 'inquisitive nature" gets the best of him and he will come out to visit. I agree with "InTheAir" cant beat those treats :D

That is true Melika, as far as smell vinegar is a natural non toxic odor killer.Safer than any commercial ( TOXIC ) product on the market.

Birds are flock animals so it would seem like they would interact with the entire flock. Quinn will do anything for my husband, but he is also fine with me. You need to remember those treats girl ! lol :D

I agree with that idea, Quinn used to fly to the screen door. This is funny, Buddy our dog has a rubber chicken that Quinn is afraid of we hung it on the screen door and Quinn hasn't flown there since :!: :wink:

We found these 12 inch by 12 inch plastic grids that snap together and snap onto his cage. It is like a little gym that we can change up from day to day. sort of like an erector set I guess, it has worked out real well for us.

If we are home Quinn's cage door is open and he is free to go in and out as he chooses.We are retired so he is mostly out except to sleep at night. If we leave he go's inside for his own safety and also because he is a little :twisted: LOL :roll:
