Hey,
So today I noticed Mango being a little less chatty than usual and he has been doing this bobbing thing with his head which kind of looks like him doing the wave with his neck.
Anyone know what it means?

My IRN Nibbles on My Ears HARD - HELP!
Hi everyone, I picked up my IRN Mango late last week from the breeder. Overall, he is a very active, fun and tamed birdie. However, I have but one complaint, when he is on my shoulder, he tries to nibble on my ear and it's pretty hard to the point there's pain. How do I work with him to make him stop?

Mango and Kiwi/Milo are Home!
Hello everyone, I finally picked up my IRN and cockatiel from the breeder today and all skepticism I had about Mango (the IRN) not being friendly went out the window. As soon as I stepped down to where the pair were waiting for me - I saw a transformation in their behaviour. Everytime the breeder wo...

Re: Bringing My IRN Home in Three Weeks!
Thank you Skye, that was very insightful and I will speak to the breeder about it tonight :) So I went today and Mango is coming along and eating on his own for the most part. He is currently being caged with a Cockatiel that I also am getting so at least they will be well acquainted. One thing I di...

Re: Bringing My IRN Home in Three Weeks!
Oh man, I'm going to go discuss this with the breeder tonight when I go see Mango. Hopefully I can ask her to start working on training him to not be a screecher, but then again he's very young and is quiet all the time anyhow.

Re: Bringing My IRN Home in Three Weeks!
Thank you for the tips guys, I'm always doing research trying to ensure that I can provide a forever home. Noise for me is an issue and I have had a Sun Conure that I had to return as he was way too loud for our apartment. How would you say the two correlate in terms of their noise levels?

Bringing My IRN Home in Three Weeks!
Hello everyone, I went today to place see and place my deposit on an IRN at a local breeder. Mango is currently 7 weeks old and not fully weaned yet. Thankfully, the breeder is very experienced and handles the birds everyday. I chose Mango because he seemed pretty quiet and wasn't afraid of being ha...
