I had a hen that once covered 6 eggs and she was successful with 4 but 9 eggs, impossable to cover. I would remove the first 4 and place them in a brooder or under another hen. I dont think she will lay more eggs.

There is a difference between Ch Fallow Blue or a Ch fallow split blue or a Blue clearheaded fallow and the same with the Cleartail.

I would not recommend putting this two different mutation together. Grey is greygreen blue so you are going to end up with
greygreen splits and green splits.

I have removed cock birds after the hen laid and had success with the hen alone. Once I had to remove the nestbox and relocate it ( because of bees) and the pair lost interest and stopped breeding. Third egg was yesterday.

I paired up my Deep Blue split clairtail cock with a Blue clairtail hen that is a 2011 bird. She laid 3 eggs so far but doesnt go down
on the eggs to breed. How long can I wait until I remove the eggs , before they become spoiled.
