Hello, my 4 month old has been biting now for about 2 weeks if i go in hes cage he pounces at my finger and does same when hes out the cage i have been told and guessed he is bluffing so if this is the case how long does this biting last? also he does not want human contact when i eventually get him...

Are you able to handle her? if not then sit by her cage talking to her then before even trying to offer her your hand offer her a treat from your hand like some millet, apple ect... what ever she loves do this a few times then slowly start offering her your hand during this process you must probably...

Over The Past Day My Girlfriend Has Had These 2 Little Green Fly Like Things On Her Arm After Holding The Bird I Have Seen Them But Not Seen Them Come Off The Bird They Are Small And Just Green.

Any Ideas? Dirty Things Come On My Bird

Also How U Get Them Gone Hes Had A Shower

If she does not then don't give her any treats that she likes until she learns to do as told your the boss not her just don't let her win birds will try play your soft spot and don't let it work use the firm voice say "UP" showing her the treat so she knows if i go up then i will get it if...

Not really sure! He goes to work with me everyday, in a pet supply store. He is with me 24/7. He also shares a cage with a 6 year old irn who talks. This may have made it easier for him to learn.[/quote]

Yea hand raising is fun :) yea i found the cup works a dream by 3 month old hates millet what is weird but he will do anything for a apple so just got him trained to fly from hes cage to my arm to get some apple :) they do love a bump into things when learning to fly keep me updated on the little on...

Good and the water part i found what works is get a plastic cup like a disposable one cut it down so it is only about 1 inch tall fill it with water and hold it under his beak as he puts his beak in the cup tilt it a bit to basically force it then he knows everytime you give him that cup its his wat...

these claws are causing him to be irratable you can buy sling to pop over them to stop him getting at them i would say take him back to the vet and tell the vet about it they should be able to sling these up and give him something to kill pain if he is in any.

Take time with the bird and it can be made tame start off my talking to it in a nice happy tone of voice and sit by the cage talking to it for a little while then when you go near the cage the bird should be a bit more calm with you and slowly put your hand in the cage with a treat millet works good...
