Re: Plz Plz Plz Plz Plz Plz Plz Helppp Me!!!
Hi rather than a towel find a perch or a stick you can make him/her step up on to return him/her to the cage. It really will stop afterawhile, hang in there. It was nearly 2 months before Chili my baby stopped biting and nipping. Now he is just a mush pot. He will sometimes pretend he is going to bi...

Any suggestions for toys?
Hi there does anyone have any suggestions on what toys and things to keep an IRN busy and occupied and not bored? I spend alot of time with my little muffin but I would like to see him occupy himself a little more. He is terrified of the new toys I bring home from the pet store so they seem to be ju...

Re: Screaming and Screeching!
Well I have been trying what everyone suggested with Chili and it is working. He still has his sreaming moments but they are diminishing. When he realizes he doesn't get ANY attention, positive or negative he settles down. When he is quiet I interact with him. He still has his "chatter" bu...

Re: Screaming and Screeching!
Thanks everyone soooo much for your feedback. It makes sense to me that he is beginning to be demanding. Duh! I will no longer react to his screams and interact with him when he is quiet. He is being a spoiled little brat and I have allowed that. Well it is time to fix it. I appreciate what you've s...

Re: Screaming and Screeching!
seems no one has any feedback for me. I thought this board was to help and support each other with our birdies. Donna's post about the 10 steps was very helpful. Thanks Donna.

Re: HI EVERYONE :-P
Hi Oren and welcome. Congratulations on your new birdie. I believe it's never too late to tame a bird. Be patient. It takes time, lots of time and patience. Let him settle into his new surroundings. Talk to him everytime you are in the room and stand by his cage everyday and let him get to know you ...

Hi I'm from Nanaimo BC Canada and I have had Chili my IRN since last Aug. He just turned a year on April 7th. He is currently going thru his 1st molt so he is looking like a little scruff muffin. Chili is my 1st IRN and I am absolutely in love with this breed. He has been talking and whistling since...
