They get scared easily I suppose.e Especially if the movements are fast. So being slow is the key. also I will suggest you to teach him to do step ups and make him really comfortable with you and your hands. Then instead of bring the stands near to him I will suggest take him initially near to stand...

Any fast movements can get them scared. If you are trying to be friendly with him always move your hand very slowly and talk to him to give him confidence. My tips for U , taught by my alex

No Pelican, He does eat sometimes but only when he feel like , that too if I compare with normal food intake then this is bad, recently his appetite has been better and started eating by his own though sometimes he takes his feeding formula from my hand but I am glad as he started tasting other eata...

Glad to hear that you got her back. My Alex is just 2 months and he already doing his trial take offs in side the house, but best part is he takes off and land in my hands. I am just enjoying so much with this guy

they are called gentle giants though they are much bigger than IRN but I found them to be much more friendly than IRN (IMHO)
