Rio seems to be fine after all, I am sure it was her first molt, pin feathers are coming and the new feathers are brighter. She still has feathers did not molt yet. Her tail is all ratty from climbing the bars.
I think she will be okay.

Wow he is beautiful. You take very good pictures. My Ringnecks do not like the spray bottle yet, they try and bath in the water cup. I gave them a big Glass pie bowl but they won't go in it, they are afraid of it. Maybe one day they will enjoy the bath.

Re: Video of my Lutino IRN Chatting away
Tajj is very pretty. She sounds like a cockatiel. Do you have a teil? Maybe from the breeder or petstore where you got her from. I just want to mention that Tajj should have more toys, shreddable ones and one to knock around. You should provide her with other perches of a different texture like the ...

Re: Why did he die ?
So sorry for your loss, sometimes we will never know why are pets are perfect one day and the next day they die. It sounds like you took good care of your IRN.
Could of been a heart attack. Maybe you could bring your other birds to an avian vet to make sure they are okay.
Take care.

Hows your ring neck doing? I would not give it olive oil. What would that do? If your ringneck was constipated than maybe that would help. I have never heard of giving olive oil to a sick bird before. I agree with keeping him warm. Can you hand feed him some baby food? I hope he is alright.

I don't see any pictures. The rings only show up after 1 or 2 years. The male has the nice ring and the females have a slight ring. You can get them dna'd to see what sex they are.

That sounds exciting for you, but I have never hand reared Ring Necks before. I have used the hagen tropican hand feeding formula for other birds.
