Re: Strange Behaviour??

LOL a little too much at times I think! Thank you :D
So is typical male behaviour? He is 2 years old now and no ring as yet. I know it takes a while to come out.
I tried to post a video but it wouldn't work :(
The pic of him in my signature is a few months old now.

Strange Behaviour??

Hello :) My Ringneck 'Buddy', who we think is a male, is only very friendly with me. He will get up on my shoulder and just coninuously 'tap' and 'rub' his beak on me. He will talk to me as he does this. Can anyone tell me what this behaviour means, or if it means anything??? He will also at times h...

The kids and I will be flying and my hubby will be driving and taking the boat. He has mentioned taking Buddy in the car with him but I am worried about Budd...

Re: strange behaviour, can anyone explain, i'm new to ringne

Oh that's good then! lol
Otherwise poor Buddy would of been one confused little bird...considering we call him Buddy Boy and he says it to, he quite often says 'what ya doing Buddy Boy' :D
Thank you for the reply :)

Re: strange behaviour, can anyone explain, i'm new to ringne

My IRN (Buddy) is about 18months old now. We think he's a boy but of course not sure. There is a pic of him in my signature if anyone would like to let me know what they think from the pic. He quite often lifts his wings slightly and bobs his head up and down and pins his eyes, he does this at his r...

The pic I was trying to put as avatar was 80 x 80 and between 3-4kb.
I changed the pic in my signature after posting that :D

Re: Can Somebody please help?

Thanx for the response :)
So how long does this last and will he be back to being friendly when this 'phase' passes? Gee it's just like having another child ah??
Like I said it's been about 3 months already, hope it doesn't go on to much longer :(

Can Somebody please help?

Hello :) I have an indian ringneck (we think male) who would now be 18months old, got him when he was 3 months...not hand raised! I handled him a lot when we got him, he has a big cage, toys, rope perches, gets fed premium food and quite often gets treats of fruit, nuts and veggies. He is never shut...
