Re: bird beds?
Hi, We have a triangle one and my bird loves it, was thinking about taking it out just recently as the australian summer is upon us but I noticed my bird was in it at night again the other night so I guess I'll leave it in the cage

Re: pics-before and after ring
Thanks everyone. Nudie is nearly 3 years old, his ring started coming in last xmas. He was an aviary chick (my brothers aviary) that was thrown out of the nest and then hand raised. My nephews named him Nudie because of course he had no feathers. Nudie has only lived with me for the last 4 months, b...

Re: Bird cage for Indian Ring Neck
I've just bought the 1st cage and my bird loves it.
I love the seed catcher, it has really reduced the mess around the cage.
Good luck choosing a cage

Re: my bird always tries to kiss me
ha, nudie does it too. Not really sure how to stop it. Nudie talks when he's close to my lips so when I answer him he has a quick opportunity to try and dive in, and if I don't answer he also tries to pry my lips open. He loses interest after a while so its not such a problem for us. But like you sa...

Tail feathers and gaps between bars???
Hi,
I have a blue indian ring neck who has just got his black ring but his tail feathers seem to snap off. The tail feathers seem to grow in, get long and then snap off. Any thoughts??
Also what size should the gap between bars on his cage be?
Thanks,
Tanya and Nudie
