Ok shes 5 years old. All ways had the marks. As for environemental conditions she gets 10-11 hours of light a day. She is feed fresh fruit and veg an some seed an avian science bird vitamin&mineral supplement. As for the parents i dont know as i got her from a pet store that was closeing down i ...

Help with color

Can Anybody help me with the color of my bird shes lutino but has orange patchs on her wings tail and light covering under the yellow on her head i've looked on the net and found nothing any ideas . :?:

Dunking

Just wondering if anybody else is birds dunk their food in the water bowl halfy does it everytime i feed her its funny to watch her line up the food an dunk each one as eats it only problem is i have to change the water after shes done as it looks like soup an with fruit it can get a bit smelly. :lol:

I took my girl to the vet on firday to get her wings cliped an was dreading it but she did'nt make one sound i was so proud.An as of today she started taking food form my hand through the cage :D.

Thanks Ellie one more thing now she has started doing this thing where she puts her wings out a bit an goes form one end of the preach to the other bobing her head about an looking all goofy.

Thanks for the tips guys i think i made a few breakthroughs with her as i can sit by her cage an she does not freak out shes come close to taking food from my hand like 3 inches but just sits there looking at me so i put the treat in the food dish an try again a bit later.
