So let me get this straight about Candeling Eggs
If you can not see threw the egg, but can see the liquid move in the egg the ggs are fertile? When i candel my eggs i can not see threw the eggs but i can see the liquid move at the bottom.

The reason i am asking my Hen has been sitting on her eggs since she first dropped her first one back in feb 27 i believe. I didn't candel them and i picked one up for the first time the other day and i couldn't believe how heavy and almost dence it felt. I am hoping they are fertile not sure if it ...

HEllo and thanks for replying but she has dropped her first egg and is doing well. I appreaciate the comment about egg binding i didn't know that could happen since this will be my first batch of irn babies. She is good and dropping an egg every other day we are on two eggs now.

My male is a Green split two cinimmon, with blue as well, my female is a Creamino Yellow and White. The male is 3urs old and the female is 2 the nest box is 216 by 16 by 20

Finally, she laid her first egg ever today after sitting in that nestbox for 2weeks straight. I happy the wait is over, So Hopefully have some Creaminos soon.

Very Frustrated
My hen is in her nest box like 23hrs a day but there are no eggs, looks like she is going to drop one but hasn';t her poop is thicker and darker so that is a sign she is going to lay but she has been in this box for like 2 weeks and i dont see any eggs am i missing something?

I have the same problem but maybe not to the extent of you but my female has more like chewed off her feathers accept for wings and tail but body completely naked, took to the vet he said she was bored, So bought more toys, perches, stuf todo, she still wont let the feathers grow back, now she doesn...

Quick question
I have a female IRN, she has been spending time in her nest box an awful lot, comes out of it but not more then 20 minutes and goes back in for hours, the Male Irn sometimes goes in when she isn't in there during the day and goes in at night, I dont see any eggs, what would the bird be doing in there?

Aww it is a Beautiful Looking Bird. I have found a very good tactic at taming avairy birds, spread some peanut butter on your finger or your stick your using. The Bird will LOVE your Finger.

What a wonderful Day
Finally after two long weeks of watching and making sure there were no fights, my Creameno Woodstock (Bright yellow and White) finally let my Male Budoki (breeders said he was a mix of like everything Blue, cinnamon, and creameno) feed her for the first time. It was so adorable.

I wish i could post a picture but i am on my old computer and i can not. His plucking or moulting is symetrical, even on both sides of his body. No screaming, pain, or blood

my ringneck is 9 months old and he is starting really pick at his feathers. He is not pulling out big or main feathers but a bunch of small tiny down feathers are coming out when he preens himself is this the begining of molting?

Hello everyone i just picked up my baby ringneck today and she told me it was a lutino, but i thought a lutino had red eyes, and this ones black and it also has white primary feathers everything is is bright yellow so its lutino split to something. Anybody know what it would be
