Help finding a mutation
Hey guys. I haven't been on in forever. I'm considering finding another ringneck to be owned by. The thing is that for the first time in my life I have a favorite color and I'd really love to find a bird in that color. It's a kind of seafoam green, green-blue color. That green-blue that's on an opal...

Gender help.
I've found a turquoise pallid and was hoping that there is some way to tell the sex without doing the DNA test. Father is a blue split to pallid and mother is a red-eyed cinnamon pallid. The breeder did not state which color cinnamon the mother was, so I assume she is also blue? (Will ask her and po...

Alright, so if I have a male green and pair to a white female and keep the baby and do it again; what are the splits of that baby I kept back to breed? Ino?
This does seem the best route though.

Re: How to get Lutino and Blue; possibly Ino
We're supposing that one of my pair is just normal green with no splits. If I get a mate for that one, that was produced from a Lutino and Blue pair; then I would have all green babies split to lutino and blue, correct? I also know that dominant colors are green and grey, but what other very dominan...

How to get Lutino and Blue; possibly Ino
I'm looking for help into breeding my own line. If I start with a green, that had green parents and therefore is just the green in genetics what do I need to pair it with to get babies that are split for both Lutino and blue or Lutino and ino? It'd be awesome if there was a bird I could pair to get ...

What are the fallow mutations?
If I may ask. o-o
And how would a fallow look differently then, if it is not the clear head?
I was looking up how to get yellow/clear heads in ringnecks and cinnamon fallow came up as one, alongside clearhead fallow.
So both of these mutations get clearheads or no?

Turquoise pallids. I've been looking at some pictures and most of the females I've been seeing around are very light compared to the boys. Are boys just darker? Have bluer tails? In general? It seems to be a little difficult to find pictures. Anyway, I really love this mutation and just wonder if I ...

Hm...you could try using a big loop of yarn of the same color as your harness? Size does seem to be an issue regarding getting used to it.
