As long as you are still administering formula, you could introduce really soft foods now... But I would wait until 2 months or so... I would say it is not. And I say that because the cage is not very tall and the bars are spaced very close... An Indian Ringneck should be housed in something that has a bar width of at least 1/2'' to 3/4''... And it should be more like... 60'' high or so... Hope I helped! We recently bought our IRN...
