Update :)
Hi all, it's been a while since I posted anything on this forum, but I thought I'd write a little update regarding my rescued IRN. I made posts asking for help back in September (http://www.indianringneck.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11060), because he became fearful of pretty much everything o...

Re: Yoshi has been sneezing.. a lot. I'm really scared.
Mine used to do that a lot too... just as you described, with no discharge and healthy looking. It freaked me out aswell, but I figured he must had had something stuck in his nostril or a bad itch, so I did the same thing you do for a human and took him into the bathroom, filled the sink with hot wa...

Re: Strange IRN behaviour PLEASE HELP
I'm sorry to hear about your problems. Doesn't sound like fun at all! If you were willing to clip his wings I think that would help; although I understand that you may not want to do that. You could try clipping his wings for one season to tame him down again and if he was ok next season you could ...

Strange IRN behaviour PLEASE HELP
Hi everyone, so I need some advice on my IRN's behaviour. *I'm assuming he's a male due to his 'displaying' behaviour* To break things down, he is a wild rescue that came into my care at about 2months old after being attacked and grounded by crows. I took him to an avian vet who reccomended I keep h...

Re: Question about bluffing. Please help!
Hey :) Thanks for the reply! It really helps! As for what he could be afraid of, I didn't change anything on myself, but as I wrote I did move to belgium for the month with him while visitng my parents... but he never minded moving before so I'm surprised he'd suddenly react like that to a change of...

Question about bluffing. Please help!
Right so I have an approx. 5month old (i think male) IRN who's been an absolute saint since my mother rescued him about 3months ago. ( I like in belgium where there is a wild population of IRNs and there was a pair nesting in our garden, but crows ambushed the nest and my mom found him half dead on ...

And thats awesome :) I love carpet pythons, but my parents are afraid of big snakes so nothing over 1m can enter the house haha... I currently have a Butterfly Agama, a Freckled Monitor and...

Re: Rescued Ringneck
Haha thanks :) I was happy to do it, especially since I'll be starting veterinary medicine studies this fall haha! But thats awesome! Truth be told I'd much rather live in Australia then Belgium heh :p but thats mostly because my main interest lies in reptiles, but whatever :) Im just glad my mom wa...

Re: A serious trouble with young IRN!
I'll agree with the others about not buying unweend birds and espceially not from pet shopsm but I stumbled across a baby IRN because my mom saved it from a group of crows in our garden (I live in Belgium where we have a wild population of IRN amongts other species of parrots). She didnt want any of...

Rescued Ringneck
Hi everyone! This is my first post, so I figured it would be fitting to introduce my lil' bugger and her rather unusual story :) I was never into IRNs (caiques being my one true love as far as parrots go), but I was pretty much pushed into owning one after comming home to a rescued baby IRN two week...
