They can get stressed when going into a new environment but what you are describing sounds more like the start of a respiratory problem, I'd get him to a vet as soon as possible and get him checked out. Usually a IRN's nostril and beak area are dry and clean.
Good luck and keep us updated

It's an IRN... I agree, too small for an Alex plus it's beak would be much bigger.

Beautiful colour I must say!

Re: wing clipping

Gomez was clipped when I got him... I probably won't clip him again as he is just not interested in flying. The only time he does fly is to find me or to fly back to his cage, he just likes to sit on top and watch everything going on.
I would only clip a bird to help make it easier to handle.

You can try take a clicker but you'll need a little more time than just a visit for that to work unless you are really lucky and he is responsive.... it usually take a couple of days. I can't say about the colour but with the mating it's quite common in birds that the female looses feathers as the male grips as he is mating they tend to grab feathers to balance themselves. I think to be honest if you have doubts then that should be enough of an indication... trust your gut feeling.

Regaine should help it grow hair... however your bird needs feathers (sorry couldn't help myself) I do know that over zealous mating can cause some birds to lose feathers on the back of the head.... they do grow back.
