i never have them in the same room unless one is in its cage most of the time the only confrontation happens when i walk past echos cage with bubba on my shoulder.

bubba doesnt even notice her inside her cage but shes always in there puffed up eyes pinned and stricking in full attack mode

iv had the same problem and keeping it in the freezer or fridge will work

but the next time u buy new seed/pellets just put it in a bucketwith a good lid, or jar or pitcher or tup-a-ware...u get the idea (keep it sealed) and make sure u dont leave it with the lid open always remember to close it

my female echo has the same problem she does the same thing to bubba and bubba is 10 times her size yet she thinks she can take him !

sometimes i want to let her nip at him just once so she learns her lesson but i know bubba would hurt her to bad and she still wouldnt learn her lesson

they are only sweet to people but they will attack even my macaw if he gets to close

one of them is ok with his siblings but if they get to close to his turf(his cage) he will fight with them untill they retreat

but now they know they cant fly if i walk away from them while we play then they jump trying to fly to me but then they either turn around and walk back to their cage or walk around fallowing me

i had the same problem with my babies i raised but they grew out of it.

they still try to fly where they want to go but then they crash and just walk to the destination i have a 7 year old ringneck who still trys to fly and has always had his wings clipped
