And the baby will be female.

If not then its a pied baby. which will be blue or blue violet.

As far as i know the first mutation are in the wild and they still continue to happen in the wild. Some are bread in captivity but the original ones where caught in the wild and put in aviaries. Hi Molossus, Yer most of that i had already found out i was more interested at the violet DF side of the bird. Now if this bird i am talking about was also WH/WT is there more or less chance of seeing the violet? Possibly in the base of the tail or neck! I imagine it probably doesnt make a differenc...

The pallidino will be much lighter some are almost to the point of white. I would go the second pair if thats your options but if you are able to go for a turquiose blue pallid. Hi there that is common, how old is the hen and how old is the male.

When a hen is not mature they tend not to investigate the nest box inside as much as the
males do.

I was thinking maybe a halfsider they do come in all variations from complete half half to a dot.

The lutino hen parents are meant to be straight lutino with no splits according to the breeder. The DNA certificate I got with the male says blue/pallid, if that helps any. It can but you best getting a calcium pellet or powder and provide it in the diet,
If she doest go for the pellet then either grind it up and put it on the fruit an vege and then you know they get it.

Hi there yes it is an IRN,

Its a green pallid or as some know it a green lacewing.

The beak could be a few things but most likley it just needs some calcium in its diet.
To strengthen the beak etc.

Madas thats a fault in gen calc (but you already know that) :mrgreen: And thats my bad for not looking. I was just showing the % of getting a blue bird or a green one. But the % is worked from 100 so it could be possible that you get four blue birds in nest one, but then not get another for 96 birds...

The last one looks like a creamino (Turquiose blue ino) but not completly convinced.
