I have had Ringo for eight months now and at first he used to hide at the back of his cage. He will step up but only if he really has to. He will tolerate me being very close to him and he will take treats off me but i still have a long way to go. I suppose it depends on the individual bird..... kee...

While i try to train Ringo to step up, he flutters and tries to get away, is this normal?
