Ringo is 19 months old now, not a good picture, he hates the camera but he has pink splodges around his neck and black lines.

I have had Ringo for eight months now and at first he used to hide at the back of his cage. He will step up but only if he really has to. He will tolerate me being very close to him and he will take treats off me but i still have a long way to go. I suppose it depends on the individual bird..... kee...

Ringo eats around 4 - 5 grapes a day and unfortunately still eating seed, although i do offer him pellets all day and he gets fresh fruit & veggies twice a day, but he throws them all on the floor...he also gets millet every other day and i share one between Chico (the cockatiel) and Ringo..and ...

Ringo has just been through a moult, he had his wings clipped the middle of January what is the chances that his flight feathers have grown back... every time he stretches his wings out i cannot get a good look and i am still unable to hold him?

That is so wierd, i had 3 mirrors in Ringo's cage, and i thought that may be why he is not making noises etc do i took them all away and also felt guilty so i put 2 back. Natalie, it is funny how things work out, Ringo is approx 13 months old my husband bought him from our local pet store whwn he was 8 months old and s/he (don't know sex yet) had never been handled..i think he took a dislike to hubbie as he was the one to catch him to take him to vets when we had him...

My IRN Ringo is one this month, we have had him for 4 months now, he hardly ever makes a peep, except the last week or so if he is out of his cage playing and i pop out of the room, he calls me...but other than that he is also very quiet.

I have been told to take my IRN to a different room to train, but he wont step up yet and will not let me too close to him and if i take the whole cage he will not come out of it...... stubborn, what do you do in this case??? oh and cannot catch him he goes absolutley mental with or without gloves.

He is normaly kept in the dining room, i came home and put the cage on the floor in the dining room and opened door, he came out but only because i put the cockatiel on the floor aswell.... i just have to get him to come near my hand now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
