well not a happning thing. i have tried lots of different things and hes still not eating them, ive filled up his food bowl with many different things and a few pellets and hes eaten everything but the pellets what next?

ive ordered another ringneck, this 1 is going to be handtame from 9 days old. will love cuddles right from the start, i have mango who is not tame but slowly getting better do you think the new bird will help him (mango) become more trusting if it sees me handling it?

yet another breakthrough, finally its not heaps but, i feed mango his favourite this morn a piece of apple mmmmm. anyway i did it from the outside of the cage but left 1 tiny finger on it it took ageeesss but finally he couldnt resist and came for a bite, he took i then spastically took off flapping...

I stuffed up

I let Mango out yesterday and toweled him gently so i could have a wee cuddle, yes i got bite but stayed calm. i didnt hurt him had a wee cuddle then let him go but then he climbed on his cage turned his back to me and wont speak to me. :-(

converting to pellets.

Mango refuses to eat pellets. hell pace the bottom of the cage at night time feed time for anything but pellets. he has them in his cage all the time but would rather starve then eat them. any suggestions? ive tried mixing sed with them but he eats the seed and leaves the pellets

i cant move him because his cage is huge. but ive had a wee break through he climbed out and sat on top of the cage. for awhile, and then i put a bit of apple in his cage after half an hour and he went back in, hes slowly getting there

its so hard to be patient sometimes. but i no i no it has to be done. slow progress here still just getting him used to the house i think as its quite buzy and there are always people coming and going. i only do training with him when im here by myself otherwise theres to much happining. ive started...

right mangos wings are clipped, i sit and talk to him, what comes next, should i let him out? or finger train him first or maybe stick train him, can i do that in the cage? he wont take food off me yet maybe thats what i should be doing first.

Im still working on getting him to take food out of my hand. Basicaly hes still settling in but I dont thhink it will take to long to win the we guy over. Its done he is now a clipped wing bird. He was soooo good didnt put up a fight at all didnt screech or try biting. Hes a bit weary of me now tho but im sure ill win his love back in no time. Im feeling very excited, I hope 1 day ill be able to touch him and ave him eating out of my hand
