Re: pvc playstands

Here is the stand my Dad and I built for my IRN's. It is on wheels so they can go from room to room with me. I have modified it a little since this picture, but they love it. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/af248/jeanniemhr/054.jpg http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/af248/jeanniemhr/049.jpg

I have looked in the forum for what size nest box is good for IRN's. But cannot find that information. Can someone please tell me what measurements are best. Thank you!

Kiwi has a new friend!

I got a new male ringneck over the holidays. His name is Spanky and he is about 13 years old. The lady that I got him from has gone back to school and felt that he wasnt getting the attention that he needed. We traveled from Montana to Colorado for the holidays and brought him back with us. Its an 8...

Picture of Kiwis new play stand

Here are pictures of the new play stand that my Dad and I built for Kiwi. We put it on a plant stand that has wheels so it is moveable. She loves it and spends most of her day there! Excuse the bird droppings on the bottom. I should have cleaned it first! :) http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/af248...

Re: Need help with weaning

I had a love bird that was like that also. Couldnt get her to eat real food for anything. The pet store told me to take monkey bread (that you buy at the pet store) and soak it with warm water. She would nibble at that. Once she got to eating that well I would give her that soaked with formula. Even...

Kiwi is talking!

I was sitting in my chair next to Kiwis cage and talking to my Mom. It was her first time meeting Kiwi. And then plain as day she said "good girl" twice. I was sooo excited I scared her from all the noise I was making. LOL

Hi! I am new to this site and new to having an IRN.

Hello from Montana. I adopted an IRN from our local shelter 2 weeks ago. They had received a call from someone who had found it in their garage. They had the bird listed as a Quaker. When I went in to take a look I knew that it wasnt a Quaker. I had someone say that they thought it was a mustache pa...
