It's modular so you can put it up and take it down easy and as many times as you like. It's also a larger gague so you can actually SEE whats in your aviary and its gunna...

I do my sisters canarys feet. I would really try to learn to do this kind of stuff on your own, I know it may seem scary but at least with canary feetses you hold the bird up to the light and you can SEE where the quick is. In Ringnecks you arent so lucky, but at least after having a look at canary ...

While my birds are really tame, I think that because they are their own flock they dont try to talk to me very much. It sucks for me, but I think my birds are happier in their own little flock.

It's just that I'm not going to go out of my way to feed them worms.

I would also pass on the whole worm thing, it might not harm them, but I dunno if they would even be interested.. I doubt it's part of their normal diet, they arent insectivores.

I hope the mother is feeding them, but even if she is you should try to help them along a bit. Babies at that age may not accept food from you or know how to eat for themselves. If you can give them hand rearing mix or something similar then I would try that fed with a syringe without the needle par...

It's pretty rare, your birdie must trust you alot.
When Growls was little he would fully lay down on my shoulder on his stomach and fall asleep, they usually lose those cute mannerisms when they grow up, try to encourage her :)

Usually if they are a young pair that would happen. They should do better next time, so give them lots of good foods and wait till next year.

I would buy from reputable breeders. Maybe see if shipping them to you is something you want to look into. I believe, though I'm not sure that the prices in Victoria are slightly higher than other places. Here is another article too look at from Winged Wisdom http://www.birdsnways.com/wisdom/ww57e.h...

It's physically draining for the hen to sit on eggs all day. So if it's been way overdue then I would reccomend taking the box and the eggies out till next breeding season. Then feed them up nice and plump for next year. :)

I think each bird is different as far as temprement goes.
Alexandrines are bigger birds and they have the red on the wings and a different head and beak shape. They look very similar but are a not-so-far-removed species.

I dunno. If this was my home page It would take me half an hour to get anywhere else. I'd have to make sure I read every new post before going somewhere else. I use the internet a bit too much for that.
It sits in my drop down menu and logs in automatically, thats good enough for me.

Hybrids is a bit of a controvercial topic. There are purists who get very upset when people breed hybrids. Generally people dont want Hybrids.
