nice birdie. i was wondering do ring necks go crazy for millet. cause i remember when i had budgie they use to go crazy for the stuff they wouldnt stop eating it until it was alll done.

i found this really neat playgym and i would like to buy. it gave a list of birds for whom it is suitable for. IRN wasnt on the list but cockatial are on the list. considering cockatiels and IRNS are about the same size would it be safe to asume that it would be suitable for IRNS?

here is a little product i stumbled upon. i dont know if it helps at all but for those with birds that pluck it might be worth it too give it a try. as we all no plucking is a very seriouse problem. maybe this stuff works?

winter heating

i live in canada and i was thinking about the winter months what should i do for heat for the bird. currently we put the heat up tp 19 when were home what temp should we level the thermostat on when we are not home for the bird, it get pretty cold here. i was thinking around 15 might be ok, any help.

where are you located? as long as the birds still get fresh fruit and veg, seeds are ok.If there is something different that you are interested in getting from the pet store near you, ask them would they be able to stock it. i live in toronto canada. as for the bird food im thinking of feeding them...

i was told by variouse breeder that this is a turquiose mutation, ive found some pics of the turquiose mutation but they look completly different then the bid in the vid. the bird in the vid is practically green all over and just the flight feathers and tail feathers are blue what am i look at here?...

if u look at the male's wing feathers they are a dark blue, is that a mutation or is that there natural color? from what i have seen this is the first time i have seen this color on the wing feathers. i s this some sort of mutation?

thanks everyone....i think for the most part all of you had confirmed my thinking, that the people who told me this or even thinks his is cause they dont know how to handle birds period. even if there still a breeder it dosent matter, maybe they just dont know
