Yes, that's about it. If I want to keep her in my house, her wings need to be clipped. After she attacked my Mom, I had chosen to give her up instead of getting her wings clipped. But the rescue agency I talked with - who I was going to give her to - asked me to try to keep her since she had bonded ...

I totally agree about them being able to have their freedom. I have never believed in having my birds' wings clipped because I do like them to be able to get around on their own. Flying is one of their natural gifts. But, in certain circumstances and in my case, it's just not feasible. My IRN does h...

Wow! What a flock of birds you have!! My landlady (also my Mom) has limited me to three birds...so I have my ringneck, my cockatiel, and had my parakeet (budgie). Thanks, Pinkdevil. I love my girl. She's my little cuddle bug. I think she's probably about 20 years old or so. I'm not quite sure how long they can live. She has a cataract on one eye, so she can't see out of her left eye. She is high maintenance and has been for as long as I've had her. She doesn'...

I prefer to have my birds free-flighted, but with my IRN, that simply wasn't possible. She does not like my Mom and she made that very well known when she flew into her face, claws first, and then tried to pierce her lip and face with her beak. I could not take the chance of her trying to hurt anyon...

Hello!
Hi there. I just wanted to introduce myself. I have a green Indian Ringneck. I've had her about eleven years, but I am her fourth owner. No one else was willing to deal with her until she came to me, and I fell in love with her. Kasper is a beautiful bird who loves to cuddle and is very intuitive. B...
