[size=150]Congratulations on your new IRN. The color of the photo is not too clear to be 100% certain, it may be either Silver or pale blue. It will actually take about 2 weeks minimum for her to settle in. If she was mistreated it may take longer. One thing I have learned with the first bite is tha...

It is amazing to see that even my ringnecks go for red first above any other color. The same goes for food, they tend to eat the reds before the green or yellow. All of my birds live in one aviary. Just prior to breeding time each pair reconnects, after chicks are completely weaned they have very little to do with their partner bird for a few months. They choose a nestbox and settles in for the season. There is only fighting between two pairs, my first pair a...

As long as your IRN has enough space to spread its wings fully , and the longest point of it tail does not touch anything would be fine. It is preferable to not have any bird in a cage too small. I have 13 ringnecks living in an outdoor aviary all year round. We started small and kept adding to it a...

Hi there. I own IRNs. At present there are three pairs with eggs. On the 17th of March2009 one egg hatched but did not survive the night it was really well develop...
