She's bonded with both myself and mum, she doesnt bite mum. She bites me when she is on me, she bites me when i go t scratch my face etc. She went through a stage when she snubbed me and just wanted mum, now she's snubbing mum and wont leave me alone! no matter what i wear, she is trying to go down ...

Obsession of going under layer of clothing
Evie, is obsessed with me, mainly going down my jumpers and tops...and is very possessive. She has drawn blood several occasions this week..We're in Sydney Australia, and its winter at the moment, is this her coming into breeding season?

Well, the cause of the bad breath before was the blockage, which had caused an infection, but she has taken her course of antibiotics and the blockage has been removed, the smell isnt as strong or as potten as last week but still....I might ring the vet tomorrow

Hey guys I am a lil worried about my Evie, she seems fine but then her breath smells funny...my mum says like a sweaty smell, but I cant seem to put my finger on it what...and her poo has changed colour and consistency over this week...We do feed her seed, nut and fruit and veg throughout the day......

I put them in plastic "take-away" containers, its more econmical to buy the seed in 2kg bag than the 1kg bag...I am just going to defrost each container when needed...Its spring here in Australia where I am, so yeah...My bird dislikes the pellets they are in the bird seed i get and she lit...

Generally at pet store brought bells, they normally say what they are made of, as in copper nickel etc..
unless you're talking about seed bells, they usually consist of basic seed mix, with an ediable safe glue subtance.

Yea i know, i am on my Ls at the moment, they should show these ads on tv, or to Learners/platers/ and fully licesnced drivers who recklessly drive, to show them that maybe that time they didnt hurt anyone but what they could do......

I know, its just heartbreaking beacause day after day you see idiots on the roads who dont know the concequences of speeding, tail gating and just reckless driving.......I think this video should be shown to every P plater who is caught speeding etc might scare some sense into them......

That's okay Sasha4... i have taken both your advices, and i'm planning to try to get her to the vet tomorrow(monday), i have padded the bottom of her cage with towels may take out the perches tonight.... smallworld, i've been watching her since i noticed the leg, and she only puts slight pressure on...

Thanks Greenbean we've padded the floor of her cage with towels, so when we go out later today if she falls its a soft landing..and we've lowered the food water and perches so its not a high fall....we're only going out for an hour or two..

thanks for making me more guilty than i do.... there is only one avian vet thats not 3 hrs away from where i live isnt opened til monday...its saturday.....and FYI i have waited 3-4 days til going to the doctors with a broken wrist, ankle and toe....so thanks for the obvious advice....not...

it just seems she dislikes us.... if we our hands near her she runs at us and attacks us, it is getting worse with each day, yesturday my mum had put her in her cage while we were all out for like 2 hrs or so left the radio on and had her with toys, and when mum went to get her out all she did is at...

We dont yell at her, he just leave our hand there and ignore her, and say step up and if she bits again, we move or and and turn our backs on her.....and then we leave her be and then go back after like 15mins or so and try again...this morning she bit me reallly had in the nail bed of my thumb...th...
