Original thought cinnamon green SL Edged but with closer inspection it is not SL Edged. Flights are basically clear yellow.
Feather shafts are all pretty white beside tails shafts are brown.

Re: What color is this chick, please help
Your cock must be split to pallid(lacewing)
So you either have a green/blue lacewing hen or if its is sexed as a cock it will be a green pallidino either split blue or turquoise.
The photo looks to light for green lacewing so i would say its a green pallidino.

Re: Splayed legs or am I just an overly worried new mum?
Hi
The bird needs its legs held in the right position ,there is another topic on this with the bird wearing a device.
This is caused most often by not enough calcium in its diet.
Vetafarm make calcivit which can be added to it hand raising mixture.Do this for 2 weeks with the suppliment.

Well it is only new but Babu from london with some have verified this mutation.
He is probably the worlds best on ringnecks.
They do look pied but these birds change colours and they think they have progressive melon ,and in parrots there is only 1 other type that can do this.

Hi
Are they a definate pair?
Does the male have his ring yet?
If they are both hens they can lay eggs and both will sit on them with no male.

Ringnecks can mate up to 3 weeks before eggs with mating everyday.

Hi
Well if she is a plain green then you will get Lutino/blue hens (Green ino/blue) and green/blue/ino cocks only.
The online genetic calculator is preset to green so if it shows just ino then it is green ino(lutino)
If its a Albino it will says Blue ino in the code.
Cheers

Hi
No the pair was by themselves.
All the birds from this breeder are kept in pairs and never houses together.
The cock now is on its own as he thought it was split ino,but a lutino baby that cant be right either from it.
Ive seen both parents and they are blue so another unknown thing has happened.

The Hens will also look like plain lutinos except they are not.
I have had a hen like this and didnt know till i got a greygreen in the nest what she actually was genetically.
But you might never know if it was paired back up with a normal lutino cock.

If they were suppose to be both lacewings then who ever you got them off has ripped you,but the cock bird could be split lacewing but its not the same as being one.

Hi
Lewi is correct but here in Australia you would be lucky to find a straight green.
I would say 99% are split blue and then there are many split ino.
But working just on the green/blue then you will also get blue hens and blue/ino cocks.
Hope this heaps
