I'm no expert,
i had a hen sitting on infertile eggs and was advised to take them out, now around a month later, she is sitting on 3 eggs so far,
hopefully someone can advise on any pro's or con's for this situation,
good luck regardless, i hope this time around i have better luck too

Well i have 2 eggs now, so she must have laid the first on Monday and the second on Wednesday, so exciting, my other's have nothing yet :(

True I know that with dogs aswell as horses some inbreeding goes on for bloodlines, although with horses i have heard you can't breed a father with a daughter, but you can with a son and mother, do you know if this is correct and would it apply with birds? I'm just curious i suppose i don't have any...

Asha was parent raised, i got him about a month after fledging, there is a tiny bit of improvement, he doesn't freak out like he used to but still runs away if you approach him, he/she hated Indy and used to go for the attack and try to dominate him, but it's funny because after i clipped Indy's win...

I Feel so Bad!

I clipped Indy's wings yesterday and feel slack! It's just better for safety, he seemed a bit down in the dumps, but is doing fine, and getting used to the idea! I suppose i am just being silly LOL

Territorial!

Hi Guys, I was just wondering if either sex is more territorial than the other? I have a male who doesn't seem to be worried, but my unsexed grey will go out of it's way if Indy (male) is on it's cage, and Asha (grey,unsexed) will go into Indy's cage aswell and lunge at him if he goes in there! not ...

Cheeky!

I am in no way an expert on IRN'S, but my cheeky little bugger Indy often flies away when he knows he is going back in his cage, i cup my hand over his wings (not tight), just so he can't stretch them out, then he gets a kiss and a good boy, i am lucky though that i can reach him at his fav spot too...
