3/3 eggs have hatched- all appear to have dark (normal) eyes. Now to wait and see how they feather- any non edged will be dna sexed- time couldn't go slower.

yep, I agree with Ringo- it's a Violet SL Edged. They are actually very common- most of the time when you're looking for a true Cinnamon you'll find these instead (wrongly being advertised as such).

Albino. Contrary to popular belief, Albino Indian Ringnecks will all end up having blue eyes (irides) and black looking pupils. Of course though they are hatched with red eyes which slowly change over the coming weeks.

Hens can be split- just not to any sex-linked mutations. Violet and Dark are not recessive mutations, they are dominant, meaning they will 100% express on a bird if they are present- although they can be masked by Ino and Grey these are the only exceptions of where Dark and Violet won't be displayed...

GreyGreen is a combination of the Grey mutation and wildtype Green. as to how much they sell for- it depends on your location, for example in my area they sell for around the same as pet Greens and Blues

In some instances you can nest sex chicks- for that to happen the cock needs to be either visual or split for a sex linked mutation- ex Cinnamon Blue cock x Blue hen = 100% blue cocks, and 100% Cinnamon Blue hens.

Shey, another thing to consider is that the ruby eye of the cinnamon tends to darken. I bet a few/lot? of breeders have been sitting with edged hens and thought they were cinnamon, and vice versa. As long as the the cock is sf, you'll get both df and sf cocks- as well as normal and edged hens- if he is df then you'll produce only df cocks, as well as edged hens.
