My birds kiss me. I don't think an ice block lick is very different. I also share my toast with my guys. I like the idea of freezing some fruit. I think I will try that. My dogs also love ice on hot days.

Offer the bird your forearm rather than your hand. Apparently, birds are not comfortable sitting on your hand until they are feeling confident. It worked with my little panicky bird.

I had two birds in a big cage and, after 12 months, introduced two new ones. After some suspicious creeping around, they are now fine. The original two are still bonded but the others have made the cage (and the rest of the house) their home, too.
