well I can't see any new growth on his chest or head, where it seems to be getting worse... but I do see like 4 new tail feathers that are growing pretty quick and are looking good.

no, I dont really see any... he doesn't seem stressed and I dont see him plucking... he's extremely active and playful... He's been a little more biteful lately but he's still only 5 months old and trying to do the whole bluffing thing...

Mine loves homemade toys. I took a practice golfball (the ones holes in them like whiffle balls) and i feed cotton rope through it and tie things like pellet treats and beads and bells on each string. Two things I've noticed. My IRN does drink his water, but he also loves it when I mist his cage with a spray bottle so he can get a bath. he then drinks the water that drips down on the bars from his cage. Is it bad to give your IRN to much fruit? I usually give him 2 or 3 pieces a day... It depends on the day on what it is, but it seems to make him poop a lot more often... Im scared that it is going to dehydrate him or something... I try to switch the fruit up day to day... Pineapple, oranges, apples...

another good Idea is to use rope and tie it to the cross bars of the cage and create perches that way... braid the rope or tie random knots in it... My fid loves it because it like a swing...

Ok inside the cage and on his new play gym he has no problems with balance...

He eats pretty well and drinks good too... Feet seem to be ok with no problems...

I took him to the vet on monday and the vet said he's in perfect health... he ran tests and everything as an overall health checkup...

Do i have the right size?

I just bought a cage for an IRN that I hope to pick up this weekend... is it the right size? 30" tall x 22" wide x 17" deep. It has 3 food dishes and opens at the top if I want let him out on a perch up there. Is it big enough.. my IRN I'm looking at getting is 4-5 months old.
