Sounds exciting moving to a new home, making it your own and adding new birds to your family. Definately post some photos when you get a chance. Can't wait to see them. Since they are in an avairy are you still close and hands on with them or are they more independent?

Thank you, that is the best explanation I could ever get. It totally puts my mind at ease and makes sense. I definately don't expect perfection or it to be easy. Tipping the Water?

Had a few new mommy questions. Maybe some don't have answers. Why does Buddy love to tip his water dish. We keep it out with him during the day...Its definitely not from him wanting to bathe. He doesn't play in it. He gives off little gentle squeaks throughout the day. Is there any meaning behind it...

Not to be a bother but what kind of baby food? It looks like granuals in there as well. They say that many pets being fed wheat, corn and soy over time have dental, liver and kidney problems. I had no idea. We are new parents. We took our little guy into a tropical bird store for grooming. They did much better than the vet and spent a lot of time and had a lot of info for us. New Ringneck Owner in AZ

We just became owners of a stray ringneck. Bought a huge cage to care for him until we found the owners thinking if we did we would find a bird of our own. We always wanted a bird. The people who found this bird were feeding him wild seed and he was staying in a tiny dog carrier. Now he has a pentho...
