Hello all, My IRN, Cocab doing something strange ! He yells at his foot, Hi keep his foot up in front of his beak and starts yelling at his foot, I have seen he yells at his toys but I don't know why his is yelling at his foot? Hi all, Today I noticed that there are some feathers (small ones) about 8-10 dropped at the bottom of Cocab cage! I did not noticed he is plucking his feathers and also I know the molting time is summer and I have seen his first molting in summer. Do you think it's normal he is loosing his feathers ...

Hi, I have seen a very strange behavior in my IRN, she keeps her beak open (by putting her lower and upper beak tips on each other) and I can see some water accumulating under her neck. Thank you, you helped me very much,

But there is always a NO for sugar and salt, is it really absolutely NO? Is there any problem with a little amount of salt that we have in our cookings or I must avoid it for Cocab?

Hi,

To day I gave him a hardboiled egg. It seems that Cocab is not very interested in! Just tried some and then throw away the rest!

Also, can I give him rice? here in Iran we usually have rice specially at launch so I can easily offer to Cocab if it's good for IRNs.

Hi all, thanks for suggestions, After a few days trying it seems that every thing get worse. now he is more aggressive. Previously when he was on my hand or in cage or when I was scratching his head he was very calm but now as soon as he is able to reach my hand JUMPS OVER MY HAND and start to bite ...
