dunno if Spit is male or female but he/she is a looker. hes started getting tiny black feathers around the sides of his lower beak so i dunno if that means hes male? or do females get them too?

i've never owned birds before either but i know mine flew pretty damn well (too well in fact) before he grew his two longest tail feathers so i cant imagine it doing much damage to his flight. plus they grow back sooo quickly
