Wow, you all have such wonderful babies ... can I ask a REALLY stupid question How can you take them our side and not loose them... I would choose the biggest or widest if the Alexies wing span is any thing to go by.

This forum seams full of wonderful people who just want to care for their birds and love the fact that we are honoured to own such beauties. I think I have found the right forum to guide me through my years of Alex ownership

We also keep reptiles and always have live foods about so I was wondering if it would be okay to feed the Alexes live foods such as mealworms and waxworms as part of their protein needs?
Would you feed these as a treat, part of the main diet or not at all?

At the moment, the Alexes aviary is very bare with just two perches one at either end of their 7ft flight.
