Thoughts and advice on splitting up a pair of IRNs
Hi everyone, Its been a long time since i have posted. I have 2 IRNs, a tame male and a not so tame female, both i have had since they were 8 and 12 weeks old respectivley, they will be 5 at the end of this year. The last year i have had to keep them in seperate cages as my male can be a bit aggress...

Hey everyone hows it going? just wondering if anyone here knows much about feather mites? i think my nibbler has them, he is in moult at the moment (and very cranky i mite add) and he has like black marks on his feathers, espescially his tail it almost looks like someone has gotten black shoe polish...

hey everyone..
the sun is rising sooner and so are my birds, ive tried darkening the room, covering the cages etc but to no avail, so what do you guys do to stop your birds making a racket at the wee little hours?

Hi Jim, the sweeling appears to have gone done and she is eating fine and being fairly normal, i am still going to keep a close eye on her though. she has been biting a lot more but i think this may be due to it beng the breedingseason, though she wont step on your finger (she will just bite it) she...

Does any one on here know much about the anatomy of ringnecks and i guess birds in general?
THe reason i ask is ruski has like two glands either side of her lower mandible and one seems a little bigger than the other.
going to take her to the vet just wondering what you guys think

20 years... wow I read 7 to 9 oh well I brought scratchy home last nite and she is slowly settling in. She is 3 to 4 years old and is a girl ( she as been laying eggs) She isn't tame but im still undecieded what to do, she didn't try to bite me when I was trying to get her out of the traveling wood ...

Hey guys, ive had fry since he was about 7 weeks old and now he would be around 6 months old and while he is tame and doesnt get handled all that much he is very highy strung.
he is heatly and eats well and like the others likes to pick on my Nibbler he is very jittery.. any sugestions?
